BOOTCAMP

Wow, Its been awhile since I have gotten on here and wrote something. Its been very very busy. With the wedding approaching fast we are trying to get alot of things done. Seven of us girls started doing what is called Bootcamp at the local gym here. Its a 6 week program of endurance, abs, legs, arms, chest etc, let me tell you it kicks your A**! We are almost done with week 2 and already I can see a difference. All of week 1 I was very very very sore. I couldnt hardly sit to go pee, if you touched my legs they hurt. haha It was bad, but just like our instructor said, after the first week it gets better. Alot of the things we did the first week, have seemed easier for me during week 2! Thank God!! We got measured and took our weight the 1st night, and we will do it again the last day to see what the end results are! I cant wait!! I will be posting more this weekend!

My Goal

Since the wedding will be here in almost 3 months (which I cant believe)my friend Jennifer and I have been exercising LIKE CRAZY. We have decided that we are going to set goals in 5 pound increments because we both want to lose 10 lbs. The first 5 lb goal is that we are going to buy Sketcher Shape ups! Im super excited about these. Since im on my feet all day at work, im giong to wear them to work and then walking. I will still wear my new balance for jogging, becuase ill probably fall and break an ankle trying to run in those suckers! haha Wish me luck!! I have 3 more lbs to go! haha

Next Monday

Well, next Monday I am kind of excited to watch Jason and Molly's wedding. This is only the 2nd couple that have actually gotten married. I loved Trista and Ryan, and they now have two kids. Now, next monday the wedding of Jason and Molly from last season the bachelor are going to tie the knot on ABC! I will def. have to watch it! Also, they said last night that Jake will be on dancing with the stars! Crazyness! Ill probably watch that one too! haha What would I do without DVR!!! Thats for sure! haha

And the Winner Is........

Vienna! Well, I have to say I am a little disappointed that Tinley didnt get picked. I think she fit in better with his family and what not. I havent really cared for Vienna at all throughout this whole show, but she kind of grew on me towards the end. I def. know that she cares alot about him. Im curious to see if they will last! I cant believe that Ali is the new bachelorette. Im confused because she left this one saying she had to pick her job. Did she quit her job??? Shes going to be gone a long time for this one.........Im a sucker, Ill watch the bachelorette to! haha

SPRING SPRING SPRING where are you??????

Spring cant get here fast enough. The guy came tonight to give us our estimate for our retaining wall that we have to do SOON. WOW! WOAH! WHEEW! is all I can say. Why is concrete so EXPENSIVE!?! My question to Derek tonight was....Who's Idea was it to build on top of a hill with a Mountain of a driveway!?!?! Oh yeah, it was mine!! haha It was between concrete and blocks, and between my dad, derek, and the guy doing it, they all decided concrete would last the longest and be the best route to go. So when it drys up the first chance they get they are going to step in with the back hoe, and start going to town. We are going to build a 3 foot retaining wall about 115 feet along one side of the driveway. At the end we are going to put BFR's (rocks) that is down to the creek to help the water flow. We have our work cut out for us. Derek reassured me that we will have grass by our wedding. My toes and fingers are crossed! After the retaining wall is done, my dad and derek have to back fill and rearrange alot of dirt, then we will plant the grass seed and hall a few loads of rock! Ill keep you posted how it goes! Derek and I are going to both have to get second jobs when this is all said and done! haha Ill post pictures soon.............

Enchanted Dance Floor

I am so so super excited about the enchanted dance floor. The decorating changed a little bit now that there is not going to be a band and the band risers. The dance floor will be centered with the head tables that are going to be on risers. Im super excited about this because there is white fabric that will be draped from the ceiling with white lighting. It looks very elegant and neat! Here is an example of what it will sort of look like! I cant wait.

CUPCAKE AND CARD TOWER

All of the fun decorating has begun for the wedding. Friday night Renae and I went to a crop night and instead of scrapbooking we decorating a cupcake tower and a card tower. We had alot of fun. We got there at 6:00 PM and we left at 12:00 AM. We got just about all of it done! We finished the cup cake tower and we only have a few small things to do to the card tower! They turned out so cute! Its super easy and pretty cheap to do. I thought I would wait and surprise everyone so you could see it at the bridal shower and wedding BUT you know me and surprises they dont happen to often! We are using the cup cake tower at the shower, and we are also using it on the candy buffet at the wedding Way back last year, my dad and I spray painted the card tower and it seems like we just did that yesterday. Time has gone by so fast!!

CANDY

June will be here before you know it. I have started looking for candy for the candy buffet. I still can't decide if I want to do all pink, black, silver and white candy or if I should do mulit colored candy. So far I have pink and silver wrapped hershey kisses, pixie stix, dove pink wrapped candy, pink fruit punch tootsie rolls, pink suckers, black licorice bites.........Im debating to add multi color to it!?!?! If I go with mulit color I will just put a cute pink and black ribbon around the vase..... Renae and I are going to daisy lane this week and decorating the cupcake stand and the card tower box that I made. Im going to have the cupcake stand on the candy buffet as well with cute pink, and black decorated cupcakes!! Here is a picture of what i am wanting the candy buffet to be like, not exactly like this, but similar. It will be the serpentine tables and then a circle table in the middle with the chocolate fountain. We are going with milk chocolate, to dip we are having pretzels, pink wafers, oreos, angel food cake, and fruit kabobs!

Oreo Balls

I made these for Christmas. They were a big hit! Here is the recipe. Enjoy!!

1 package 18-ounce, Oreos, Finely Ground
½ cups Confectioner's Sugar
8 Ounces Cream Cheese, softened
1 package Chocolate Bark ( I USED WHITE CHOLOATE BARK)
Preparation Instructions
In a food processor or blender, process Oreos until finely ground.

In a large bowl mix Oreo crumbs, Confectioners sugar, and cream cheese using an electric mixer, until well blended.

Roll into walnut-sized balls, place on cookie sheet, and refrigerate for one hour.

Bring water to a boil in a double boiler. Remove from heat and melt 3-4 chopped up chunks of the chocolate bark at a time in the double-boiler, stirring constantly. Make sure there are no lumps. Repeat process when you need more chocolate for coating.

Stick a toothpick into an Oreo ball and dip it into the melted bark. Let the excess drip off.

Place the dipped Oreo balls onto a wax paper lined cookie sheet and let harden (about 10-15 minutes).
